Research interests: Developing machine vision and bioimaging technologies for food, biomedical and biomaterial engineering applications. Current projects include automated X-ray and laser range imaging to detect bones in boneless poultry, automated infrared imaging for defect detection in fruits and vegetables, and source analysis-based brain-computer interface for wheelchair control by neurologically disabled patients.
